The scores and league tables have been updated with the provisional results of todays Bahrain GP.

Marco A tops the scoresheets today with a score of 1029, 6 points ahead of Mathew Cox, with 5 others squeezing on to the third step of the podium, a further 25 points off the lead pace.

Thanks to Marco, Austria currently lead the top country league, and Marco's personal league MelonLeagueTP leads those standings too.

Marco must also be a Charles Leclerc fan too, as the day just gets better for him. Not only does he win the Bahrain GP he leads the fans league here at Fantasy Racers too!

It's the Saudi Arabian GP next up in just a few days time. You are now able to update your driver line-up for this race. Drivers will be frozen at the scheduled start time of the qualifying session on Saturday.

The qualifying session for the Bahrain GP is underway and driver selections have been frozen.

If you’ve arrived here too late, entries will be re-opened upon completion of this race so it’s not too late to get involved.

Sebastian Vettel will not take part in the Bahrain GP following a positive Covid-19 test. Reserve driver Nico Hulkenberg will replace him for this weekend.

We are down to the last few days to get your Fantasy Racers entry in ahead of the season opener in Bahrain.

There are just 22 races now, with the removal of the Russian GP, and a late driver change as Mazepin's contract is terminated, and Kevin Magnussen drafted in on a multi-year contract to replace him at Haas.

Driver selections will be frozen at the official start time of the qualifying session on Saturday 19th March.

So racing is set to resume next month - a 23 race calendar for 2022. A busy year ahead.

Nearly 200 of you have already drafted in your teams for this year. Welcome back! There's room for plenty more.

There are a few small changes worth pointing out for the regular players who, like me, don't bother to read all the guff.

The main change is that, from this year, points will be awarded for Sprint races, if they return. This does mean that the cut-off for driver changes for these events will be brought forward to Friday, as the original qualifying session will continue to score fantasy points.

Additionally, there are minor tweaks to the Gains and Race Finish points. A driver will need to be classified as a finisher in the race to qualify for those points. Points will still be awarded for laps completed, regardless.

Finally, the gains in the race are now calculated from a drivers actual Grid Position, rather than their qualifying position.

I think that's pretty much it. So if you want to get involved this year feel free to do so!
