A few small changes are being implemented to try and encourage donations. This includes viewing the leagues/team drivers during a race weekend for Privateer Accounts. Additionally, a cap on the entry limit will be set for Privateer Accounts - a cap determined by the level of donations received.

Why? Well, Fantasy Racers costs me money to run. My time is free but the costs I have to pay each year are becoming a bit of a burden. So the change is being made to try and encourage more of you to donate. If more of these costs are not met by donations then the time may come to stop running Fantasy Racers altogether.

The approximate cost to me is around £500 a year. Not a huge amount but a cost I've mostly been funding out of my own pocket for a long time. Fantasy Racers needs to become financially self sufficient if it is to survive.

Fantasy Racers will return next year. But beyond that will require support from you, the players.

The scores and league tables have been updated with the results of the US GP.

Kieran Ashton posted the best score for the second race running and now climbs back up to 2nd position overall.

John Harris holds on to the outright lead just 110 points ahead of Kieran and Milo N who are currently tied for second.

There is a real battle going on in the personal league standings. Rodrigo C's Fresh Knickers does just enough to return to the top of the standings by just 3 points from Julia M's Formula P1nts.

We also have a change in the Legends table, which is based on all competition scores since 2014. Jonny Hughes now leads the standings by just 43 points - demoting Michael H down to second. Can Michael fight back?

The provisional results for the Japanese GP are in.

Kieran Ashton topped the scoresheets with a score of 697. Kieran jumps 9 positions to sit in 5th position overall.

John Harris jumps to the top of the overall league standings and leads Joshua Ashton by 38 points. Milo N drops to third, a further 34 points off the lead pace.

The provisional results for the Singapore GP are in.

Yogesh P took the race win today, top scoring with 965 points. Yogesh jumps 101 positions to sit in 193rd in the overall league standings.

Joshua Ashton continues to lead narrowly ahead of Milo N just 47 points off the lead pace. John Harris jumps 17 positions to move up to third.

There's also a change of lead in the Personal League standings. Rodrigo C's Fresh Knickers has led since Azerbaijan but Juliam M's Formula P1nts regains top spot after a 9 race sabatical. There's just 2 points separating those 2 leagues!

The scores and league tables have been updated with the results of the Italian Grand Prix.

Incredibly, for the third successive race, Marcos P posted the best score of the weekend. In those 3 races Marcos has jumped from 59th to 7th in the overall league standings, as is just 218 points off top spot! Incredible game play!

Joshua Ashton remains top of the overall standings, Milo N 49 points adrift in second. Rob Portman jumps to third, a further 147 points off the lead pace.
