Kimi Antonelli is currently the top pick featuring in 47% of teams thus far. George Russell is a close second on 43% reflecting Mercedes strong performance during recent testing. Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc sit 3rd and 4th - Ferrari being the 'next best' team - and McLaren seemingly have work to do sitting 6th and 7th.

Just a week left to get your team entered in time for the Australian GP.

It's great to see so many familiar names popping up of the league table. I realise other Fantasy F1 competitions are available so thanks to those that stick around and come back year after year.

A quick reminder that this website is completely free of Advertisements, Tracking Cookies and is an AI free zone! It's a labour of love for me and, after some very nice comments received last year when I considered wrapping things up, now hope to be around for many more years to come. All the while there's sufficient demand.

It may not be the biggest or best but some people like it and that's good enough for me.

There's just 2 weeks to go until the opening F1 race of 2026. Be sure to get your entries in before the start of qualifying on Friday 7th March.

Pre season testing suggests Mercedes are likely front runners at the start of the season, with George Russell the current favourite to take the WDC. Max Verstappen is the next best with Charles Leclerc, Kimi Antonelli, Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri leading the bunch behind those top 2. But it was only testing and, well, who knows how it will shake out in race conditions.

A quick reminder to current players (and for the benefit of any new players joining the party) that driver values listed here are reflective of their recent form in this competition and are not an indicator of what to expect in 2026. After all who knows what's going to happen this year with the new cars and regulation changes?

It will no doubt become evident once the season gets underway that some drivers are way too cheap whilst others are overpriced. But that's the whole point of this game right? The trick is to pick drivers that are good value for money, which will increase your team value and spending power as the season progresses.

Driver values are adjusted after each race weekend based on a longstanding mathmatical formula used here - so they will naturally correct themselves over time.

The competition is open for entries for those keen to get their teams drafted and leagues created.

Those that like to track their progress in the legends league standings should know that a maximum of 10 seasons scores will be used to calculate your overall legends score. We are about to embark on our 11th season since these standings were introduced.

So what does that mean for our ever present players? Well, your score will be made up of your 10 best seasons. So if you've played all of the 10 qualifying years already you will not add any further points to your legends tally until you outscore your worst season to date.

Why only 10 seasons? Well - the legends standings were always intended to highlight the best players here at Fantasy Racers - not just those that have been here the longest. This gives latecomers, over time, a fighting chance to compete in the overall legends standings. And challenge those already up there to hold on to their position!
